Special Objects, Symbolism and Family Stories
In this program, I begin by sharing an original memoir piece, “Truth From Under the Branches of My Family’s Tree.” While the special object in this story is a Christmas Tree, this program is applicable for people of all backgrounds and anytime of year. Participants are encouraged to bring a special object. We explore how we can use symbolism of special objects to tell our family stories. This program is recommended for teens and adults.
