I have played many characters in my life story.
Kimberly The Artist
My interest in the arts focuses closely on creative writing and storytelling, while incorporating visual and movement arts. I studied Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and enjoying incorporating the arts in everything I do.
Kimberly The Librarian
I dedicated eight years to sharing a love of stories in public libraries. For most of that time, I was a children’s librarian. Notably, libraries were my launching pad for my intergenerational reading and writing program – Pages Across the Ages, currently running in libraries across the country. I achieved my Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.
Kimberly the Communications Strategist
I currently am the Communications Strategist for the Business Innovation Directorate at a national laboratory.
Kimberly The Psychology Buff
I have a B.A. in Psychology from Marquette in Milwaukee, WI.
Kimberly The Social Worker
A former Social Services Caseworker at a Longterm Care Facility, I’ve led lively workshops at nursing homes on creative writing, improvisation and storytelling. With a particularly inspiring group, I compiled their stories into a work we self-published – Anecdotes from the Anchorage. This picture is from our book signing party.
